“Bat Thuong”, a fashion show took place at Megastar, Vincom Tour on 27th October 2007.

Joining in the show were 4 new designers Linh Nau, Sandy Doan, Phan Hanh Son and Van Ech

The first 3 are past students of LCFS and it was rewarding to see quality of their work. " We hold these fashion shows to give a new vision for youth and

fashion loving people in Viet Nam” they said. They intend to hold this show twice per year for the  Spring/ Summer and  Fall/ Winter seasons

With collection named “The Angels of Flowers”, Tran Dang Hong Phuong graduated successfully from the London Centre for Fashion Studies Hanoi. The collection satisfied experienced lecturers from the UK.
Being influenced by John Galliano, together with her outgoing personality and her good sense in fashion trends, Hong Phuong was regarded as a student devoted to learning and discovered many new changes in fashion trend.
After graduation, she continued designing, consulting and making evening wears. Her customers now are not only people living in Hanoi but also those in Ho Chi Minh City.
It seemed that all those things did not satisfy her. She had a dream to fly further, she decided to follow a course on designing hat and accessories for evening wear in the United States of America.
We wish her success.

It is hard to talk about myself and I rarely did before. Since graduating from LCFS, I have worked as product assistant for Pierre Vietnam. My tasks were designing, pattern cutting, planning and managing a sample room, checking completed samples, recording the technical parameters and sketching samples for file. I also took photos and made sample codes for introducing the product to the customers, controlled material consumption for orders and bought accessories for sample. It was hard work but I was so interested in finding that the distance from theory to practice in actuality is not too far. It is easy to do if you master all the basic knowledge.

With that thinking, I started to work as subeditor for a new magazine which will be published in April. I am also a Fashion tutor for Open University and working as a designer for a small fashion shop. Being a journalist helps me update all the latest fashion news in the world. This assists me in my teaching, working as well as improving my English. You may say that I am greedy but in my point of view: being work hard will get a lot of useful experience for your life.
